GRAYSCALE HOMES UNVEILS NEW FULL-SERVICE DESIGN AND RETAIL STUDIO IN MONTCLAIR
(Montclair, NJ June 2025) – Tiffany Acosta, founder and owner of interior design and renovation firm, Grayscale Homes proudly announces the opening of her new full-service design and retail studio located in a charming 1909 Art Deco building at 51C N Fullerton Avenue in Montclair. Tiffany preserved the space’s architectural integrity while simultaneously transforming it into a modern studio. Original details like the oak floors, soaring 12-foot tin ceiling and exposed metal beams were seamlessly integrated into the contemporary studio. Spanning 700 square feet, the studio’s elegant and timeless neutral palette highlights the functionality of real-world design applications. Visitors are welcomed by semi-sheer curtains cascading from the high ceilings, framing a dramatic marble table from Four Hands. Additional highlights include a sculptural sofa balanced by sculptural wall-mounted open shelves in a lime wash designed by Tiffany, along with a sleek glass and iron showcase cabinet. A cozy kitchenette along with a built-in materials library flanks the adjacent office featuring a bold Anthropologie wallpaper mural statement wall. The open concept conference area serves as a collaborative space for client consultations and creative brainstorming with curated displays of tile, textiles, paint and rug samples hand selected by Tiffany. The cozy bathroom displays dark teal lime-washed walls, Anthropologie zebra print wallpaper, and a striking marble sink with brass hardware.
A grand opening celebration for industry guests took place on June 7 drawing family, friends design industry colleagues and members of the local design community.
